Every year in Czech Republic there are celebrations for what happened this day, 17th of November, in the 1989: the Velvet Revolution also called “Gentle Revolution”.
At that time, thousands of people took to the streets to demonstrate their desire for change, to have a democracy.

This is the reason of the new Google Doodle on its main page. 😉 The situation is still dangerous and to protect ourselves and the others we have to stay at home, do smart working 🏠 , cheers online 🍻 and so on, but you might have seen this Doodle today and wondering why... so for today, sorry, no photos of our beautiful Prague but Google.

We hope to see you soon physically in Prague but in the meantime follow us on 👉🏻Instagram 👈🏻 and have a look of our website 👉🏻www.turistiperpraga.com 👈🏻

🎊 Since the year 2000, today has been a state holiday: it’s Saint Wenceslas, Czech prince and the patron saint of Czech state who was murdered becoming also symbol of Christian Europe.

Due to Covid, today celebrations could be a bit different but we really hope you would like to come to Prague to see this magic city: for this reason, instead of Saint Wenceslas photo, we share with you the reproduction of Mucha stained glass window which represents the Christianization of the Slavic peoples by Saints Cyril and Methodius.

For any further information, if you are already in Prague or you are planning to come or you would like to have a tour with us, don’t hesitate to write us! 👟🇨🇿

⚠️ In order to combat the spread of Coronavirus the Czech government has decided the emergency for 30 days starting from now, which means that pubs, gyms and restaurant close at 8.00 p.m until 8.00 a.m. Moreover events with more than 30 people are banned too.

⚠️For foreign: borders are right now controlled and tightened from Friday at midnight. people from Italy, Austria, Germany, Iran, the Netherlands, Spain, Norway, Switzerland, South Korea, China, Sweden and UK will be not admitted

Hoping this situation will get better soon, we would like to recommend to stay as much as you can at home, wash your hands carefully (more than normal), if you can, work from home, and if you don’t feel fine go to your doctor.

Don’t be in panic but be careful of what you do.
