How to enjoy the beautiful views of Prague Castle in peace and quiet away from the tourist traffic? For example, visit Jan Pištěk's exhibition in the Queen Anne's Summer Palace at the Castle. You'll have a nice artistic experience and still get those beautiful views of the Royal Gardens from the terrace.

Litomyšl, my love. The Smetana Litomyšl National Festival is a beautiful combination of the genius loci of the historic town with classical music and this year also ballet, visual arts and poetry. It is not only with art that man is alive, even gourmets will find their pleasure here. (2 hours away from Prague)

A beautiful four days in Mikulov and there would still be a lot to discover. I feel like it's the town with the highest concentration of beautiful cafes and restaurants per capita. But that's just a nice bonus. The town is dominated by a beautiful chateau, the pilgrimage site of Svatý Kopeček, the well-restored synagogue (in the past Jews made up 42% of the population), the interesting architecture of the Závodný Gallery and much more. And last but not least, it is also a town of excellent wine, of course.

As it happens, as a local, I don't have many pictures of Prague. But thanks to Hayley, a visitor from North Carolina, I did get a few. In addition to posing, we also enjoyed a visit to the Strahov Picture Gallery. Yes, Strahov isn't just the beautiful library, but also the collection of art from the 14th to the 20th century. The unique collection of liturgical objects is also worthy of note.

During the covid times I decided to go back to school and started studying art therapy in České Budějovice. I always liked the city, but during those three years I absolutely fell in love with it. Beautiful at any time of the year. Cozy cafes, great brewery, tempting pastry shops, inspiring art galleries and picturesque streets with the arcades. A peaceful atmosphere. On the way to the popular Český Krumlov.
