Reflecting on the year 2023, a truly spectacular year for my family and me, surpassing all previous progress and exceeding expectations. Gratitude to each person, especially Amruta, our families, and Aditya, whose support was instrumental in achieving these goals.
Here are 10 defining moments of my 2023:
1. Celebrated Asmi turning 4 on April 29th and Aditya’s 1st birthday on February 22nd, surrounded by close friends and family.
2. Amruta, my dearest wife, rejoined the Gynac Department after her one-year Parental Leave.
3. Completed my third World Major Marathon in London 🇬🇧 on April 23rd.
4. Conquered the fourth World Major Marathon in New York City 🇺🇸 on November 5th.
5. Successfully tackled the Berlin Marathon for the second time on September 24th, marking my fifth World Major Marathon.
6. Explored Pune and Solapur in India 🇮🇳 in January, London, UK 🇬🇧 in April for the London Marathon, visited the USA 🇺🇸 in November for the New York City Marathon, and explored Washington D.C., New Jersey City, and Boston, along with various places in New York City. Also visited Berlin 🇩🇪 in September for the Berlin Marathon.
7. Blessed to visit Nicosia, Paphos, Larnaca, and Limassol in Cyprus 🇨🇾 and witness the beauty of Valetta, Gozo, and Mdina in Malta 🇲🇹. In the summer, explored Lake Como and Lake Garda in Italy 🇮🇹, and Lake Lugano in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Cyprus 🇨🇾 and Malta 🇲🇹 were new additions to our list of visited places.
8. Maintained the tradition of running at least one or more virtual Half Marathon in or around Aalen, Germany, every month.
9. Cherished moments staying with my closest friend Shreekar and Sneha in Berlin, and at my favorite Aunt Sumita’s place for my cousin’s wedding in Pune.
10. Hosted Aditya, my best friend, at our home in Aalen, embarking on adventures to new places, including Italy 🇮🇹, Switzerland 🇨🇭, USA 🇺🇸, and Cyprus 🇨🇾.
Grateful to God for the strength and courage to achieve these goals. Hoping to inspire others with my efforts and aiming for even higher goals in 2024. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
