Hey folks!

Once again, just pushing some info to help with any confusion!

First, if you are traveling with us, we will provide plenty of details on what you need to accomplish, and what to expect during your European venture.

For our venues at the moment, you DO NOT need a "ETIAS" (European travel visa). Do not believe anyone or any site that says you need one at this point. Most importantly, DO NOT pay for one on any website at this time! It is a scam.

ETIAS "may" happen in 2027.

The primary airports you will travel through with Silver Eagles Normandy is Paris (CDG) and Munich (MUC). At these locations they are implementing the new European Entry-Exit System (EES).

Rather than providing a written explanation, and if you wish further information, watch the short 3+ minute video attached. We had the same very short registration experience in Germany a couple of months ago.

The EES is extremely painless, and easy to navigate.

Airfare, airfare, airfare!

Questions about airfare continue to be the most common inquiries we receive. For our followers and those traveling with us in 2027, we would like to provide some basic information regarding these bookings.

As noted, "basic economy" airfare is included in the standard tour package. Many clients wish to extend their travels at the beginning or end of a Silver Eagles Normandy tour. However, please be aware that deviating from the scheduled group travel dates will forfeit the airfare group booking rate. Airlines require a group of 8–10 people to qualify for discounted fares; therefore, traveling independently means paying the standard airfare rate. You'll note, Silver Eagles Normandy is one of the only military historical vendors that includes airfare with a package!

During the booking process, clients must confirm their airfare intentions. This typically takes place 6–8 months prior to the scheduled tour.

Many travelers choose to deviate from the group airfare booking. We ensure that our meeting locations are easy to access when the tour begins, and we encourage you to make the most of your time in Europe! However, please keep in mind that traveling outside of our partner airline group bookings will add to your overall cost.

Yes, true, for the fifth time! The EU travel Visa for Americans is pushed back until further notice. Looks like possibly sometime in 2027.

The Normandy to Eagle's Nest adventure for our fantastic group is ending soon.

The last two days have been filled with great memories!

The group met and fell in love with our wonderful friend, Tom Lewis of Discover Eagle's Nest tours! Tom's knowledge is second to none!

The group also visited other great sites in Bavaria and they experienced, Salzburg and Werfen, Austria!

They have been having a blast, and surviving the extreme heat that is causing havoc in Europe.

Soon they will be heading home from Munich airport.

Two days of remembrance...

As we departed Bastogne, heading for Upper Bavaria, we paid respects at the Luxembourg American Cemetery.

After arriving in Upper Bavaria, we had some time to relax at our hotel.

Now in Bavaria, our group viewed the horrors of the Third Reich.
