The route is generally classified as moderate and can usually be completed in 2 hours. Although the trail is ideal for hiking, you rarely meet other adventurers here. The Rocca di Sciara is a striking and imposing limestone massif that towers over the village of Caltavuturo in the Madonie Park. The ruins of Terravecchia Castle rise majestically below it, standing out against the surrounding agricultural landscape.
