The BVG, Berlin’s public transportation authority, offers interesting tours of the historical subway, in open top subway cars. It is a fascinating opportunity to explore the main lines and the secret tunnels that connect them. At €53, it isn’t cheap, but completely worth the time. The narration is all in German, but there is just something to the fun that can be had, speeding through the subway, during normal operations, with the top down.
