Life on a farm is never boring.

At times we wish it was… Just so much to do and it will be like that for a while, a long while, a very long while, actually…forever 🧓👵

The Bombero 🚒 is finally parked outside again. Preparing for a small tour in a few weeks. Hurray! 🎊

We have new windows installed at the ground level of the Balagan Farm. 🚜Hurray for that as well.

Also work on the Swede Spot slowly but surely continues. It will be ready for move in soon. 🧳

Visiting family in Copenhagen. 🇩🇰

This city with all its quaint coffee shops, amazing food and tempting little shops, right by the water and with so much greenery everywhere - we just LOVE to come here and are happy to be back.

Still, having adhered to strict Corona based rules and regulations at home, the laisser-faire way of the Danish is often times startling (while very tempting to simply enjoy “the freedom”).

Truly don’t know what the right/best way to handle this seemingly everlasting pandemic is, but we admit looking forward to disappear back into nature in a few days... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes you find a place to park...and sometimes you find a magical spot.

This right here was one of them....

Nestled under amazing Plane Trees giving us shade. Literally surrounded by a beautiful river and mountains and -are you ready?- at the bottom of hot springs.

We took a long hike, cooled off in the river, relaxed in natural hot tubs and then refreshed again in the colder water. Could have stayed there forever...

No firetruck, no tiny house, but a whole lot of love ❤️

Our son Ole arrived on June 9th and reminded us how precious and fragile life is.

Enjoy the moment.
Embrace differences.
Love plenty.

In our Tiny House we have a two burner stove. In our Bombero we have three...and an oven. 😍

Been asked if it was worth sacrificing space for an oven - and my very clear answer is “yes!”.

That is though, if a) you actually enjoy cooking while on the road and b) if you use your truck/van for more than weekend get-aways .

For longer tours or when actually living in the van I can only recommend it as we e.g. baked our own, fresh, warm bread in it every other day, which allowed us to stay in remote places much longer🥖❤️

Missing this rumple, rugged feeling of little paths along fields and woods, just slowly riding down roads less traveled. ❤️🚒

Yes, our firetruck is easy to take off-road than let’s say e.g. a synchro, but we find plenty of routes and roads that take us away from civilization...

Something that is really difficult for me (Anna) while on the road is to accept that we can not help every dog we meet...

We had some difficult encounters (Lotta was attacked at one point), but the vast majority of times street dogs flog towards the truck, use it as shelter and enjoy positive attention along with some food and water. 💧🦴

Some are just nice encounters, while certain dogs we meet feel so special, that I wish for nothing but being able to take them with us to give them a safe and loving home.

We don’t. For numerous reason. But it brakes my heart and I think of many if these dogs on a regular basis... ❤️🐕

Luckily we have the outdoors to roam and extend our living room into...which really makes all the difference!
