Yesterday, our members had the privilege of discovering one of Berlin’s most extraordinary hidden gems: AXICA, the event location at Pariser Platz 3 inside the iconic DZ BANK Building.
An exclusive evening with dinner, architecture, hospitality, and a behind-the-scenes tour through one of Berlin’s most unique event spaces, from the impressive main event area to the truly unforgettable Plenum.

A very special thank you to Nathalie Dahmann-Harbecke, General Manager of AXICA, who has been part of this exceptional location from the very beginning more than 20 years ago and has helped shape it into one of Berlin’s most technologically and architecturally advanced event venues.
Together with Nina Ostheeren-Benedicter and Jule Sieverts, we were guided through the many special corners of this Frank Gehry masterpiece, a place not nearly enough people know Berlin has.

Frank Gehry once described it as “the best thing I’ve ever done.” After last night, we can only agree.

Thank you, dear Nathalie, Nina, and Jule, for your warmth, generosity, and outstanding hospitality. We are already looking forward to returning to AXICA and hopefully introducing this incredible location to our global network, maybe already for ITB 2027. 😉

Let us take you behind the scenes… 👀�We had an exclusive KaDeWe tour with GM Sandra Swiderski and her team, the hidden corridors, the back alleys, the magic you normally never get to see.
And the finale? Pure class: champagne reception on the 6th floor (“Die Sechste”). 🥂What. A. Tour. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE ENTIRE TEAM!

Vom 17.–19.04.2026 hosten wir den Deutschen Skål Tag 2026 in Berlin, drei Tage, die nicht nach Agenda klingen, sondern nach Begegnung, Energie und dieser Skål-Magie, wenn man sich wieder in die Augen schaut statt nur Mails zu lesen.
