Pistoia will be our first city (after Florence) to stay in on our Tuscany bicycle tour this year. Pistoia was nominated as the Italian Capital of Culture in 2017 and is full of museums, a place where art and history can be felt in the streets and piazzas, and where culture is manifested in the many yearly initiatives.

Exploring art, history and nature in Pistoia, filled with churches, cloisters, monuments, fascinating piazzas and ancient walls surrounding the historic city.

Back in 2018 we rode into Ukraine. It was safe then, although the eastern part of the country was occupied by pro-Russian troops. Today we are all looking with great concern and fear at what is happening there and hoping that the Ukrainian nation will withstand the Russian invasion. NO MORE WAR

After 14 riding days, 2 rest days, almost 1200 km in total, we finally got to western Ukraine largest city - Lviv (Lwów). Crossing the border itself was quite an experience for everyone but we all made it in one piece. End of the ride but everyone enjoys the city and it's old town.
