Mission statement:
The Open Campus programs offers students the opportunity to select courses from a wide range of academic areas designed to support degree progress in their individual academic major while also allowing them to choose from a variety of interesting and challenging elective courses. Through an innovative block system and modular courses, students mold their own study abroad program

while expanding their knowledge in a number of academic streams. Classwork is supplemented by a robust emphasis on community integration and opportunities for practical directed research or field-based experiences.

Auf Wiedersehen und gute Reise to our Session II High School Summer Abroad Programs! Today, all of our Topic programs wrapped up and our Language & Culture students will join them at the end of the week.

This also means that all of our hardworking students had the chance to show off everything that they accomplished in the the last few weeks:

🌎 Multi-Site Global Entrepreneurship got to pitch their ideas for new and innovative businesses in front of a judging panel, showing off everything that they have learned throughout their three weeks in Dublin, Copenhagen, and now Berlin!

🇩🇪 Language & Culture students are wrapping up a month of full immersion into German culture. They’ve made big improvements with their understanding of German language, history, and customs!

🎶 Music Production & German Culture had a listening party for their mixtapes which allowed students and staff from all programs to listen to their hard work!

🚘 Automotives & Engineering students wrapped up their 3D printed remote control cars and presented their final products to their classmates before racing the finished designs!

📈 Global Entrepreneurship presented their final business solutions to problems experienced by people living in Berlin. They pitched their ideas and received feedback from a panel of judges!

💡 Engineering & Innovation students showcased their innovative solutions to solve everyday and future problems, explaining how they could be engineered and produced!

Thank you to all of our students, Program Leaders, and staff for all the hard work that they put in over the course of Session II. Have a safe trip back to the United States and come back to visit us soon! ✈️

For the next few days, GE students will continue to enjoy all that Berlin has to offer before heading back to the states!
