Through our shared experience, we have seen both the benefits and the dangers of our globalised world, where travel has become accessible for the masses. We will give you the opportunity to continue exploring our beautiful continent whilst being aware of local people, local environ

ments and most importantly the impact that mass tourism is having on our world. We will give you the chance to connect with the locals, understand the current issues facing the country in question at the same time as enjoying the beautiful landscapes and learning how to travel without leaving a footprint. On Saturday, Berlin celebrated its 44th Christopher Street Day 🏳️‍🌈. This year, for the first time, the rainbow flag flew proudly on top of the Reichstag, Berlin's parliament building, signifying hope for the new government's attitude towards the q***r community. Berlin has a rich and beautiful LGBTQIA+ history and culture, which you can discover on one of our Tiptoe Berlin tours!

Since 2018, Tiptoe Travel has offered the 'Understanding Gentrification' tour through Berlin's Kreuzberg district, telling stories of rising rents, displacement and - most importantly - powerful resistance against the negative effects of gentrification in the neighbourhood. We had the pleasure of hosting students from Texas A&M College of Architecture, who were in Berlin as part of an Akademie für Internationale Bildung, AIB study abroad trip focusing on sustainable cities. We love to share these stories with people from all around the world as gentrification affects us all and exchanging stories and solutions can help us plan for a more sustainable and equitable future in urban spaces.
