One skyline, two eras. 📸
Ever noticed the contrast between the Berlin Cathedral and the TV Tower in one view?

The Berlin Cathedral, completed in 1905, was heavily damaged during WWII. It wasn’t until 2002 that it was fully reconstructed, preserving its imperial grandeur and its importance as a religious symbol in Berlin.

The TV Tower, built in 1969, was a symbol of East Germany’s socialist regime, designed to showcase the power and modernity of the state during the Cold War.

Next time you see this view, just know—Berlin’s past is layered even in its most Insta-worthy shots!
