🖼️ What does fear look like in art? From 10th of August to 2nd of November 2025, the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz will present an exhibition dedicated to Edvard Munch and his deeply emotional exploration of fear. Historic works will be displayed alongside contemporary perspectives and a 'Pavilion of Fear' will invite visitors to join the conversation in the heart of the city.

🎧 New: Discover Herrnhut with your own audio guide - also available in English!

Since July 2024, the small Saxon town of Herrnhut and the Moravian settlements in Pennsylvania, USA, Denmark and Northern Ireland have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and now you can explore this unique heritage on your own, with a brand-new audio guide.

📍 The tour, which runs via the SmartGuide app, connects 33 stops along ca. three kilometers. Users can learn exciting facts about the history of the related buildings in Herrnhut, their use and the people who once lived in them, as well as the Zinzendorf Castle in Berthelsdorf and the famous Herrnhut Star Manufactory.
♿ There is also a barrier-free version with 15 stops for people with limited mobility.

All you need is your phone: scan a QR code at various information points in Herrnhut and enjoy the experience.

Until 27th of July 2025, Chemnitz's Stadthallenpark VISIT Chemnitz transforms into a vibrant open-air stage for the 9th edition of Park Summer.
