Planning your next summer hiking adventure? We’ve picked a route for you. 😁

If long‑distance hiking is on your bucket list, take a look at the Vogtland Panorama Trail. Starting and ending at the impressive Göltzschtal Bridge. This circular trail leads you through some of Vogtland region’s most varied landscapes.

Spread across 12 scenic stages, the route covers around 225 km, passing reservoirs, spa towns, traditional craft regions, mountain ridges and wide open views.

Good to know before you go:
👉 You don’t have to hike it all at once – many sections are perfect for shorter tours.
👉 Prefer hiking without carrying heavy bags? A luggage transfer service is available.
👉 You can collect digital hiking badges along the trail using the SummitLynx app.

Did you know that Saxony has vast rapeseed fields? 💛🌼

Every spring, they turn the landscape bright yellow and are one of the first real signs that warmer days are on the way. But rapeseed isn’t just beautiful to look at. It’s an important crop, used to produce plant oil and playing a key role for bees and other insects.

A little reminder that spring in Saxony is as useful as it is beautiful. Have you spotted the blooming fields yet? 😊
