We start our tour in Málaga, directly on the Mediterranean coast. The wide, winding roads make for a leisurely cruise along the coast. As soon as we have settled in, we slowly climb towards the Sierra Nevada. Although it’s hard to imagine, you can even ski in these mountains. But the views of the Mediterranean are almost always stunning. In Granada it is then time for a little culture. The Alhambra offers an impression of what the Moorish master builders were capable of. The influence of this culture can still be felt everywhere in the region today. Less busy roads lead us to Cordoba. Here, too, we can experience thousands of years of history and a city that is a World Heritage Site at first hand. The delicious tapas and young wine help us relax in the evening and we are ready to explore another country. Portugal has always been home to famous seafarers, a symbol of the spirit of adventure that can still be felt in this country today. The country is famous for its seafarers, who brought back a wide variety of goods from their voyages all over the world. It is a special feeling to stand on the Atlantic and imagine how difficult some of the crossings must have been. The westernmost capital of Europe, Lisbon, offers a multitude of extraordinary sights. From huge castles to modern bridges and squares, this city is well worth a visit. Bend by bend, we will breathe in the relaxed way of life in Spain and Portugal. On the way back to Málaga at the latest, you will feel the desire to return soon to enjoy the relaxed Spanish way of life on your motorcycle and enjoy a special time-out here.

SOMETHING TO FIGHT FOR is an inspiring film about Jordan Wiley and his unstoppable determination to follow the spirit of the BMW MOTORRAD GS Trophy. This journey is about far more than riding skills. During one of the hardest periods of his life, while fighting cancer, the dream of the GS Trophy became his light on the horizon – a goal that gave him strength, hope, and something worth fighting for.

Jordan had to overcome life-threatening setbacks, but he never gave up on his dream. After the Qualifiers in October 2025, he returned to the BMW Motorrad Enduropark once again this summer for one final training session.

We at TWTMOTO were so deeply impressed by his story, his determination, and his incredible energy that one thing immediately became clear to us: this story has to be told. Because it reminds all of us never to give up – even when life puts seemingly impossible challenges in our way.

With the unique spirit of TWTMOTO and the BMW Motorrad Enduropark behind him, Jordan is now ready to turn a dream he has carried for years into reality.

China’s Exotic South & the Wonders of Yunnan
Welcome to Yunnan, a region widely celebrated within the global adventure community as China’s “motorcycle paradise.” This breathtaking region, traditionally known as the “Land of Eternal Spring,” offers a road-touring experience that rivals the best routes in the world. Imagine the winding mountain roads and technical switchbacks of the European Alps, set against the vibrant, subtropical warmth of Southeast Asia.

Throughout the tour, our route follows a distinctive loop through southern Yunnan. We start on the high plateau near Kunming and drive down the western shore of Lake Fuxian. From there, we cross the rugged terrain of the Ailao Mountains and head south into the tea forests of Pu’er and the ancient tea mountains of Jingmai. The southern turning point takes us along the Lancang River into the tropical valleys of Xishuangbanna before we head back north via the Yuanyang Rice Terraces—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—and the historic town of Jianshui. This route offers a blend of technically challenging motorcycling and regional history. The well-paved mountain roads connect areas with completely different cultures, architectures, and landscapes. Along the way, we’ll stop to explore villages of local ethnic minorities, visit centuries-old colonial railway infrastructure, sample regional coffee and small-batch tea, and participate in a traditional Dai water blessing ritual. This is an extremely varied loop tour designed for motorcyclists who want to combine excellent paved roads with authentic local stops along the way.

Our tour begins in the charming town of Puerto Varas on the shores of Lake Llanquihue in Chile. From here, the route takes you across three picturesque ferries with breathtaking views of lakes, fjords and dense, green forests. You then continue south on the legendary Carretera Austral - one of the most beautiful roads in the world. You cross the Mañihuales National Reserve and immerse yourself in the impressive wilderness of the Huemules National Park. A very special highlight is the drive around Lake General Carrera, the second largest lake in South America. In Puerto Río Tranquilo, you have the opportunity to visit the famous marble caves - a fascinating natural wonder that can only be reached by boat and is one of the most spectacular places in Patagonia. We continue across the border to Argentina at Chile Chico, where you are accompanied by endless expanses and the ever-changing shoreline landscape of the lake. We continue north, spend the night in Esquel and discover the impressive Los Alerces National Park with its turquoise lakes such as Futalaufquen and Rivadavia. On the last stage, you can look forward to some more pure riding pleasure: via the legendary Ruta 40 and the famous Seven Lakes Road, we finally reach the lively city of Bariloche. On the last day, the route takes us back to Chile via the spectacular Cardenal-Samoré Pass, past the majestic Osorno volcano, until we arrive back where it all began - in Puerto Varas. There we round off this great adventure with a farewell dinner together. This tour is more than just a journey - it is a unique experience through one of the most spectacular regions on earth.
