The HeliKite Desert Star will showcase at Enforce Tac just how powerful modern, long‑endurance elevated platforms can be. As a hybrid of balloon and kite, it delivers an exceptionally stable and highly available solution for surveillance, communication, reconnaissance, and detection — even in challenging wind conditions.
With an endurance of over three weeks, payload capacities from 0.5 kg to more than 100 kg, and operational altitudes ranging from 100 m to over 3000 m, the Desert Star is perfectly suited for stationary or semi‑stationary mission profiles. Its robust design ensures reliable operation even in wind speeds of up to 80 km/h.
The HeliKite can be equipped with a range of proven, mission‑ready payloads:
- Drone detection system for Remote ID, DroneID/Aeroscope ID, and spectrum analysis
- High‑performance hybrid camera with range finder, automated object classification, and 360° situational awareness
- IMSI catcher for identifying and locating active mobile devices
This makes the Desert Star a persistent, emission‑free, and highly flexible platform for large‑area operations — from border monitoring and event security to crisis response and disaster scenarios.
