Die Teams waren längst zuhause.
Jetzt sind auch die Autos zurück in Hamburg.

Nach rund 18.000 Kilometern auf der Straße, der Ankunft in Shanghai und der Rückreise per Schiff auf 42.000 Kilometern sind die Fahrzeuge wieder zuhause angekommen.

Mehrere Teams haben ihre Autos im Hafen abgeholt – zwei Monate nach dem Ende der New Silk Road Rallye Hamburg - Shanghai und Tibet Expedition.

Damit schließt sich für die teams und ihre Fahrzeuge der Kreis:

Hamburg. Shanghai. Hamburg.

Die Erinnerungen an diese Langstreckenfahrt bleiben.

What you actually need: a car you trust, and a mechanic who’s checked it over. Brakes, tires, fluids. That’s it.
We’ll even send you a checklist so you and your mechanic know exactly what to look for before you go.
Everything else; the route, the logistics, the support along the way, that’s on us. You just drive, and actually enjoy it.

So if you’ve been telling yourself “my car isn’t rally ready enough”… it probably is. 😉

The New Silk Road Rallye 2026 Hamburg to Shangai welcomes home the Damietta Express and
for our Head of Rallies Projects Isabelle Hansen, this ship means more than cargo.
Her father was a captain on the Hamburg Express Class. She grew up watching for ships on this
exact horizon. Today, the feeling is the same, only now, it’s marking the end of another edition of
the New Silk Road Rally.
That time she waited at the pier, the allocated parking slot of the vessel. So she knew where it
was supposed to arrive, and the expected time, and with the help of the live nautical observation
line she got these exciting calls:
The final one from Blankenese just passed here, now you should really leave.
And there she went to welcome the vessel at the pier and wave to the crew and see her father after a long trip.
Those were very touching moments full of anticipation until they could finally hold each other in the armes.
Our Rallies are full of emotional and memorable moments like that, because we think that a trip
should create memories, connections and emotions.

The cars are coming back after an amazing rally through the Silk Road. Soon their owners will be with them again and the team will be once more complete. Eines der schönsten Dinge am Reisen ist, die Überraschungen entlang des Weges zu entdecken. Und der Yak gehört definitiv dazu.

Freddy auf See. Jetzt wird Seemannsgarn erzählt.

Der Äquator ist passiert – Freddy und die anderen Rallye-Autos sind weiter auf Heimreise.

Früher wartete hier oft die berühmte Äquatortaufe: Neptun, Wasser, viele Prüfungen und sehr eigener Seemannshumor.

Freddy hatte Glück.
Container statt Prüfung.

Nach rund 18.000 Kilometern Straße sammelt er jetzt Seemeilen.

Die Teams der New Silk Road Rallye Hamburg- Shanghai sind zuhause.
