Dakhla in October and November 🌊 While the days get shorter back home, the wind in Dakhla switches on reliably at 15 to 20 knots. Add sunshine and mild temperatures, and depending on the day you’ll be kiting in a wetsuit or even in boardshorts. 🤙

The lagoon is at its calmest in autumn: flat, glassy water, hardly any crowds and plenty of space. That makes it ideal if you want to learn to kitesurf, work on your tricks or simply enjoy the speed. It’s also a really good setup for wingfoilers.

After your session you’ll be sitting in the hotel right on the lagoon, with fresh food cooked every day and the sunset thrown in. ☀️ If you’ve still got energy in the evening, there are board games or kite videos on the big screen.

In Panama, you really do start your day by going straight from bed to board: take a quick sniff of the wind, choose your kite size, inflate it on the terrace and head straight out onto the water. Kitesurfing doesn’t get any simpler or more relaxed than this.

We get asked a lot where you can kite in autumn and winter. It should be warm, it should be beautiful, and it should have plenty of wind. Our first answer: Tatajuba in Brazil. 🇧🇷
