OFFICIAL COMPANY STATEMENT
At Haunted History Hamburg, we value transparency. That is why we like ghosts. Duh.
Over the past several weeks, we have received feedback regarding Derek.
We heard your concerns and we acted. To be fair, not swiftly, but eventually.
Effective immediately, Derek will no longer be leading Haunted History Hamburg tours.
Following a ridiculously brief internal investigation, it was confirmed that Derek repeatedly claimed Hamburg was founded by vampires, and that one fell in love with a mortal, and there was a werewolf in the mix somehow? Unclear.
When presented with historical evidence, Derek's official response was, and we quote:
"You can't prove me wrong."
We appreciate Derek's enthusiasm, but not really, and we sincerely regret the events of February 30.
