Welcome Andreas!

PUMA has appointed Andreas Hubert as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Starting September 1, Andreas will be in charge of our Global Sourcing Operations, including Sustainability and Product Development, IT and Logistics. With his extensive background in IT, sourcing, and supply chain management, he brings the perfect combination of strategic insight and operational excellence.

PUMA’s Management Board will consist of five members starting September 1.

Not your keys. Not your phone. But your A, B, AB and O - the blood types that save lives every single day. In Germany, a blood donation is needed every 7 seconds. But it is not something we can produce in a lab, neither does it last forever. At PUMA, we’ve already teamed up with the Bavarian Red Cross to run internal blood drives, and our teams have given more than just their time. Now, we’re opening the call to everyone. Let’s not wait until it’s missing. Let’s start filling the blanks.

Promoting physical activity is not only part of our identity, it’s a responsibility we embrace. As an active member of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), we support the release of the first-ever industry 'Physical Activity Impact Report: Moving the World Towards an Active Future'. The report highlights the global crisis of physical inactivity and the urgent need to address the fact that over 1.8 billion adults and 81% of adolescents worldwide are physically inactive. We are proud to contribute to the sporting goods industry's mission of taking collective action to create positive change.

We have a new Vice President Teamsport!

Dominique Gathier will take on the role of Vice President of PUMA's Teamsport business unit. He replaces Matthias Bäumer who took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer earlier this year and he will report directly to Maria Valdes, PUMA’s Chief Product Officer.

Dominique has been with PUMA for 19 years and has held various positions in marketing and product development. Most recently, he worked as the Senior Director of Product Line Management for Teamsport Footwear and Equipment, overseeing our successful football boot franchises FUTURE, ULTRA and KING.

In the first quarter, PUMA achieved sales of € 2,076 million, which is in constant currencies on last year's level, despite a challenging environment. Our adjusted operating profit came in broadly in line with our expectations at € 76 million.

We introduced exciting new products such as the Speedcat Ballet and our first ever collection with Hyrox to include performance footwear and apparel. We also launched our biggest brand campaign to date “Go Wild”.

PUMA remains committed to executing the nextlevel cost efficiency program which is progressing as planned.

For 2025, we expect currency adjusted sales to grow in the low- to mid-single-digit percentage range and an adjusted EBIT in the range of € 520 million to € 600 million.

In 2024, PUMA made 9 out of 10 products from recycled or certified materials. Find out more about our journey in our sustainability report published today!

Sports company PUMA has achieved its goal of making 9 out of 10 products from recycled or certified materials in 2024 and made further progress in its focus areas circularity, climate and human rights, the company said as part of its sustainability report which was published on Tuesday.
