Amidst all the communal brewery festivals of late, I managed to make it out to the historical Hohe Wart Haus near Aschaffenburg. It was a fine hike and lovely spot featuring rustic self made beers and great food. Details in link below.

It's been a busy season visiting small communal breweries in Franconia. It will take a couple of weeks to write them all up. Thundorf was a favorite. It was super well run with lots of great snacks and the beer was excellent as well. Details in the link below:
