Wir trauern mit der LGBTQ+ community in Oslo und auf der ganzen Welt 🏳️🌈 🖤
Today was actually meant to be a big and colorful celebration day for the LGBTQ+ community around the world. After all, on this , pride demonstrations are taking place in 24 cities worldwide. 🏳️🌈
But the peaceful Pride events are overshadowed today by a horrific, q***r-phobic attack in the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Our thoughts are with you, Oslo Pride. 🖤

It shows us today - and after the decision of the Supreme Court in the USA against the self-determination of women - in all clarity that Pride events are needed today more urgently than ever before. 🌈
Yes, in the decades since the Stonewall riots of 1969, we have all achieved much together. But how fragile and vulnerable these achievements are, we realize more than ever in these sad hours.
But it is important not to bury our heads in the sand, become defensive, and rest on our luxuries out of comfort. We demand equality, the end of violence against q***r people and the right to self-determination.
Because LGBTQ+ rights are and remain human rights.
