Wishing everyone a very happy Lhosar!
Gyalpo Lhosar, commonly known as the Tibetan New Year, is celebrated by people of the & other Himalayan communities living in , Tibet, Sikkim, and Darjeeling. During the celebration, traditional meals are served , a soup made with nine types of beans and meat, is one of the main dishes served alongside . On this day, sacred praying sessions are held in monasteries. Boudha, Swayambhu, Tudikhel, are packed with people dressed in traditional garb, participating in a variety of communal activities.
