The world is filled with wonderful, beautiful places... places we often walk by, drive by, or fly by, simply because there is no time to stop and wander... The intention of this page, is to share the beautiful things and places we come across, either by just walking around in our local city, town or village, and then of course the places we discover on our travels... We want to share the beauty of the world with anyone that wants to see. Hopefully this page will give you a pleasurable trip right there in your own home, and it might even help you plan your next holiday! We also want you to share your beautiful pictures and memories with us - show us what you have seen, and tell us a bit about it!

The beautiful Schönbuchturm consists of 8 supports glued local larch heartwood, which are tense over three steel observation decks in 10, 20 and 30 m height with a steel rope NET [4]. The platforms are over two spiral-shaped steel stairs with each 174 levels, of which is intended for the rising, the other for the finish. The levels are financed largely by donations. Another design element is a 30 kg stainless steel ball suspended below the top platform in the tower and surrounding countryside reflect. The "time capsule" was made based on an idea of by Nebringer artist Lutz Ackermann; Documents from the time of the tower were placed in it. [5]
Special attention was paid to the optimum preservation of wooden elements. If necessary, individual elements can be replaced, without that the Tower must be specially supported.
Since the base of the tower is a former Earth and landfill, he could be not pierced for the Foundation, so that a flat Foundation was elected. Doing as little as possible to influence the setting behaviour of the soil, the weight of the tower by 110 t is exactly the remote base.
