There were a lot of big projects in 2023 that kept us pretty busy and relatively away from social media … but we are still here and gearing up for an incredible 2024. Here are a few small updates:

1) Both houses are up and running and ready for your booking.
2) The farmhouse has a new sauna and come spring a GIGANTIC garden will be ready to enjoy with family and friends (… plus a pretty stunning and unique view of the mountains.) it’s just missing grass at the moment 😋.
3) We added some color to our cooking class kitchen with hand made tiles from … and think it might have been our favorite project of 2024 😋we love the way it looks and can’t wait to have guests come cook.
4) speaking of cooking, classes are open for booking - we offer classes starting Mid May - mid October. And then we will have Christmas Market Cooking classes the first 20 days in December… don’t hesitate to book your place today.
5) finally, although we thought we might slow down on projects … there is most likely a new specific cooking class kitchen in the works … let’s see what we get up to this year!

Will we see you in 2024 for a Bavarian Cultural Cooking Class. Today we have our final class of the year before a few months of cooking class hibernation 😋!

While we rest the schnitzel hammers … we might be working on something big for the start of Summer 2024 cooking classes - stay tuned.

Until the houses are open, the vibes are high and of course bookings for 2024 summer classes or Stammtisches are open ;)!

Hard to imagine right now, what with the quieting and calming blanket of snow and great views from the new garden area of the ZahmerKaiser, how busy a year it has actually been 😋!

All we can say is come kick back and relax for some R&R soon - because 2024 be just as busy … if not busier with all the ideas bubbling away here.

Here is the new Sauna at the farmhouse … just wait to see how it looks when we finish in the spring! Main thing though is it’s on and ready for you to book a sauna session on your next visit 😘!

What do you say? Awesome days spent in the mountains, followed with a family style dinner and a steam in the new sauna. Maybe a cheeky nightcap before you collapse into a hand made bed for some rest before you do it all again the next day?

We say yes and bring on those !!!

This sign is now pointing in the wrong direction 😂🤪! We have been working hard all summer & fall to finish a dream project at the farmhouse.

We‘re almost done and last week the ‚cherry on top’ arrived’ (see last post)… our new Sauna …. Which if we play our cards right will be taken for a test spin today and ready for our weekend guests.

Speaking of weekends … one weekend at the Farmhouse and one for the Villa are still available for this year… any spontaneous visitors to the snow alps?

The lunar module touched down at the Farmhouse yesterday. We are one week out from wrapping up the big build and look forward to sharing more about that soon.

Until then, rest assured, the Farmhouse Sauna is back up and running 😋!

Come on in, take your shoes off and relax … all you have to decide is turning right into the Stube and leaning up against the warm and cozy Kachelofen… or going a bit further and take the 2nd right into the kitchen for a steaming mug if Glühwein.

We know, difficult decision - the easy decision though : come visit ;)!

Warm cozy evenings spent in the Stube? Sign us up! Winter is basically hear, the wood fired Ofen is ready and all you need is your friends laughing in the Stube and a cup of piping hot Glühwein … the only decision you have to make is mit or ohne Schuss….

Happy Saturday! Fall is here and winter is coming. Sometimes it is important to sit back and enjoy a moment with your loved ones.
The BurgVilla/Loft is ready for this task. But the Stube in the old farmhouse might be our favorite place ever to sit back and laugh together.

Just a few weekends available for the rest of the year. Some great mid week specials for October, November & December … and don’t forget about ski season … it’ll be here before you know it.

Come visit the Bavarian Alps soon and let the Farmhouse or Burg Villa be the space for you to sit back and laugh and enjoy time with family and friends!

Our Farmhouse is open again ☺️! And although the 2.0 construction isn’t quite done - the are ready to welcome wonderful guests for a gütlich stay!

Sorry for the radio silence, we’ve been busy in the best of ways. We also look forward to sharing more soon!

A small update until then though.

We have a few more cooking class dates in October available and then we will have a break in the kitchen until December.

We look forward to expanding our availability for cultural cooking classes in 2024 as well as to accommodate solo bookings … a few other surprises might be up our sleeve too 😋 - keep you posted on that front!

The Farmhouse 2.0 reopens in October (tomorrow - yikes!) and through the month the garage and new Garten will get its finishing touches. The cherry on top is a new sauna from (besides the giant garden to accompany it with stunning Kaiser views)

The BurgVilla is ready for your booking as well and both houses are filling up fast for fall and winter - we’d love to have you as a guest soon 😋!

Finally, we are looking for 1 or 2 employees for Summer 2024. If you speak Bavarian & English, are comfortable speaking and presenting in front of a group and can handle questions on the fly (among other things)- shoot us a message!

It’s sounds crazy, we know … but winter is fast approaching! and believe it or not, now is the time to book your winter vacation! Definitely enjoy the rest of summer but it never hurts to look ahead to the next adventure either!

Here is Anna, walking back to the Adventure Bavaria Farmhouse on foot, after a sneaky ski tour and a few Krapfen from the bakery!
