In the past two days we explored a hidden Soviet bunker deep in Gauja National Park 🕵️‍♂️, wandered through the historic Turaida Castle 🏰, and made our way to beautiful Tallinn 🇪🇪.
In Tallinn, we enjoyed a guided city tour with stunning views over the old town 🌇, followed by a unique beer tasting at a local brewery 🍻—definitely a highlight!
To top it all off, we had our farewell dinner in a medieval restaurant, complete with an amazing folklore performance 🎶🔥—the perfect ending to an incredible journey.
So many memories, so little time 💛

☀️🌬️ A sunny but windy day in Riga!
We kicked things off exploring the stunning Art Deco district — full of intricate facades, bold lines, and that unmistakable early 20th-century charm 🏛️✨ Every street felt like an open-air museum!
Next up: a guided walking tour through the city’s historic heart 🚶‍♀️📖. The stories brought Riga to life — and things got a little spooky 👻 during a magical Black Balsam tasting paired with rich chocolate 🍫🥃. Let’s just say… not all “guests” were on the tour list!
After a relaxing lunch break 🍽️, we soaked in pure beauty at an organ concert inside the cathedral 🎶⛪. The music filled the space in a way that felt almost otherworldly.
To wrap up the day, we wandered through the market halls 🛍️ — a feast for the senses with local flavors, colors, and culture everywhere you look!
Riga, you surprised us in the best way 💙✨

🌞✨ Travel Diary: From Vilnius to Riga – A Day Full of Wonders! ✨🌍
This morning started on the most perfect note – bright sunshine, blue skies, and an absolutely amazing breakfast in Vilnius 🍳🥐☕. Fully energized and in great spirits, we hit the road, ready for another unforgettable day of exploring! 🚗💨
Our first stop was the breathtaking Hill of Crosses 🙏✝️. It’s hard to put into words just how powerful this place feels. Thousands upon thousands of crosses, each with its own story, create a truly moving and almost surreal atmosphere. Walking through it was both humbling and inspiring – definitely one of those places you have to experience for yourself.
Next, we continued to the stunning Rundāle Palace 🏰🌸. What a gem! The guided tour brought the palace to life, with its rich history, elegant halls, and beautifully decorated rooms. In the afternoon, we made our way to Riga and checked into our hotel 🏨. After a full day of travel and exploration, it was time to unwind and relax. The evening ended perfectly with a delicious dinner at the hotel 🍽️🥂 – a great way to reflect on all the incredible sights of the day.
Another beautiful chapter of this journey comes to a close… and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🌙💫
