𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗦𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲.
Sometimes, the best travel day is the one when you don’t have to go anywhere....
You simply take your seat.
In Zermatt, at the foot of the Matterhorn, we board the Glacier Express. And for the next hours, Switzerland slowly passes by outside our window.
No rushing from one sight to the next. No checking the time.
Just mountains, remote valleys, rivers and tiny villages. The train climbs to the Oberalp Pass at 6,670 feet, winds through the Rhine Gorge and crosses the famous Landwasser Viaduct on its way toward St. Moritz.
291 bridges. 91 tunnels. And lunch served at our seats while the Alps provide the view.
We think there will probably be moments when the conversation simply stops for a while.
Because sometimes, looking out the window is enough.
And the Glacier Express is only one day of our journey.
From Zurich, Bern and Zermatt through the Black Forest and Alsace to Strasbourg and finally Luxembourg where walking friends from around the world will come together for 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗩𝗩 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱.
