The "Wilhelm Street Festival – Theatrium" is still a crowd-pleaser for more than 35 years. This year it takes place June 9 to 10, 2017.

The world-famous musician, Sting, is giving a concert on Sunday, 31st July 2016 on the Wiesbaden Bowling Green.

Street Festival Taunusstraßefest is this weekend! Live music, food, wine and beer booths and activities for kids! Started in 2003 as a marketing campaign for the local merchants, it has since earned a great reputation and is considered an insiders’ tip among the festivals in Wiesbaden. Every year the red carpet is rolled out over 300 metres to allow visitors to walk from booth to booth. The tradespeople on Taunusstraße present their varied produce in white tents chatting to the guests and offering refreshments. Friday from 7 p.m. - Sat and Sun from 11:30 a.m. Hope to see you down there!

Woo hoo! The 2015 Rheingau weinfest is here! Nice. Location is the marktplatz - main markt square. It starts this Friday and runs until the following Sunday. Over 110 wineries- it is often called the "longest winebar in the world"! Has at least 5 stages and different music playing from about noon until 10 every night and later on weekends. No entry fee...and lots of food booths (my favorite is the spiesebraten - a grilled pork sandwich slathered in carmelized onions- oh my!)

Hours:
Friday and Saturday 11:00 bis 24:00 Uhr
Sunday to Thursday 11:00 bis 23:00 Uhr

On the weekend you might want to come a little early in the afternoon as a lot of the tables will be taken by 5-6 p.m. - but you can always make new friends and join where you find space. Looking forward to seeing you down there.

One of the best streetfests of the year - featuring live music, shows and entertainment, as well as lots of food booths!

The 38th annual Wilhelmstrassenfest (Theatriumfestival) takes place on Friday and Saturday, 12 and 13 June 2015, once again along the "Rue" and in the Bowling Green in front of the Kurhaus, Wiesbaden, the Warmer Damm and in the Burgstrasse with music, show and culinary delights the 38th Theatrium is celebrated.

Over two days, the fest provides colorful and quirky street performers, music bands of different styles, dance schools with their performances, 140 stalls of arts and crafts and of course the 120 food stands provide culinary offerings for a good time. A total of 28 - mostly local acts - offer the best entertainment on five stages. The stage program is supplemented by 60 street performers, including jugglers, stilt walkers and marching bands.

Something new this year: On Burgstrasse local restaurants and bars will be represented, such as Lumen * Restaurant - Café - Bar in Wiesbaden, Spital, Gestüt Renz, manoamano and The Curry Cartel. Hope to see you there.
