A few memories from the resent SKOG™25 in Småland Sweden. No time really to shoot a real documentary this year, but we had a great time during what was coined the "best SKOG™ ever".

So, thanks to guests and volunteers that helped make the four days so enjoyable, in spite of it starting in 3 degrees, rain and sleet. Our experiment "ending food lines" worked out like a charm, and will be the standard from now on. This way everybody can finally enjoy meals together, instead of waiting in line.

Next year SKOG™ will run May 28th – 31st.

Global warming, my *ss – SKOG™25 started at 3 degrees C, rain, wind and sleet – after three weeks of lovely sunny warm weather. But you know adventure riders...

Some of you ask if it is possible to "pop in" to visit SKOG™25 as a guest... to visit a friend or exhibitor. The answer is an unfortunate, no.
SKOG™25 is a private event in a restricted area, open only to those with a confirmed ticket. No exceptions. No popups.

If you are interested in participating, we do receive the occasional cancellation, so please ask to be registered on our waiting list.

We are working like crazy to get everything ready for SKOG™25.
In the coming week we will publicize the SKOG™25 program, but if you just can't wait, here are a handful teasers.

With the many changes made to SKOG™ starting this year, the headlines are in place:
– After enjoying a good breakfast, first half of the day will be spent on your machine, participating in technical riding classes, or on tour with one of our guide/sweeper teams.
– We expect everybody to be back in camp by mid afternoon, where we invite you to relax and pick a workshop or presentation. There's coffee and something sweet. (No, not that)

Our scheduled presentations are the following (more will be added)
– TwinPegs, an introduction and demonstration by the designer, Norwegian Kai Ingvald Flateland
– Emergency First Aid, by Rasmus Lillemose
– Wild Camping in Scandinavia, by Johan Skullman
– Nexx and Enduristan product news

We also have a few challenges this year, that will take place in and around camp. One of these are:
– Captain Slow 2025: Who's this year's “Balance Meister”? Join the challenge for best balance & control.
The challenges will be judged by Maestro Elving Solli – merciless but fair.

In the evening our program feature guests on stage, like:
– Hans Andersson, Marc Deri, Emil Duvander and Elspeth Beard

And from Chef Thunberg´s kitchen, a menu with the following highlights:
Fire pit chicken with rhubarb chutney, asian condiments and duck fat potatoes.

Slow roast beef with creamed corn and olive.

Braised pork with creamy potatoes. Vegetables from the fire with figs and herbs from Bornholm
We have even spotted a couple of desserts and afternoon fresh baked with your coffee.

All bread and cakes this year, is delivered from local bakery “Carinas”. So there. Sounds posh? Well, it is.

We have a great lineup for our SKOG™ guests this year. An accomplished team of instructors, as well as world class storytelling from some of the best.
Our guest of honor this year is the amazing Elspeth Beard – she will be in conversation with our very own Marcel Darroch-Davies.

We also have Swedish cold weather adventurer Emil Duvander, sharing his “cool" story from his 2024/2025 Winter Trip to The Arctic, on his ski equipped Himalayan.
British Marc Deri tells tales from the other end of the temperature specter, sharing his experience from a South American journey. These people share personal stories to amaze and inspire.

In the gravel pit this year, we are ramping up with riding instructor Dane, Morten Risum, teaching riding skills for the not-so-experienced - to build confidence and safety.
Wild camping basics is safely taught by the master himself, Johan Skullman. Hans Andersson is joining us to tell you about Swedish wildlife and how to coexist in the forest with both animals and hunters.

This is just a small part of what you can expect, if you have a SKOG™ ticket in your pocket. We have five weeks to go – then it is action time.
