On May 13, colleagues from our 𝗢𝘀𝗹𝗼 and 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻 offices came together to celebrate 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 - 605 sqm in the terminal building of the port of Bergen - joined by suppliers, partners, and great company all around!

It turned into a fantastic evening with a live DJ, a bar set up in true DMC Nordic style, delicious finger food, a speech and of course some amazing cake 🍰

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱… IMEX 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿:

—> We saw a significant increase in visitors from 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮, which we’re very excited about — the Nordics welcome you with open arms!

—> There is a growing interest in 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 as a result of travellers coming from afar 🇳🇴 🇸🇪 🇫🇮 🇪🇪 🇩🇰 🇱🇹

—> Due to the world-situation many Europeans prefer to 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 🌍

—> Easy and 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 remain key for most groups ✈️

—> More than ever, clients are looking for 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 — luckily, that’s exactly what we do best ✨

It is the time for exams, nerves, relief, and - most importantly – celebration 🎉

Over the last week, our 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 graduates have shown us just how skilled they have become: Taking full control of walking tours and bus tours? - Not a problem! This will be their bread and butter from now on.

Our level 2 guides even presented tours they have designed themselves, highlighting hidden gems and treasures throughout the country. The combination of good ideas and thorough research is their craft now, and it was on full display 🌟

With the longest coastline of the Baltic countries, Estonia and especially Tallinn is a major player in the cruise industry, and 𝗗𝗠𝗖 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 has been 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 for two full decades now!

Since welcoming its very first cruise ship in 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟲, our Estonian office has been led by Country Manager Marianna Bühler, who welcomed all guests with a big smile for the celebration last week ✨

In addition to managing cruise lines anchoring in Tallinn, the Estonian team has also delivered 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 since the very beginning focusing on the unique combination of Medieval charm and modern appeal the country offer.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 was celebrated with partners, clients, friends & family enjoying delicious food & wine at the iconic Restaurant 𝗠𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀 . Entertaining speeches were held by Marianna Bühler and by DMC Nordic founder and owner Jens Elers 🎤

⚓ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 🇩🇰

The 18th and 22nd of April we had the pleasure of welcoming 𝙑𝙞𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙖 back to Denmark for a fresh new season 🌊

This year our season started in 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻 - 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁. The town impressed as always: A lovely, charming and picturesque small town, much appreciated by our guests.

A big thank you to and for a great collaboration for these two ports of call 👏

50 meetings, receptions, dinners, lunches and everything in between have all made this years Global fair the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 we’ve ever attended ⚓

With 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience attending Seatrade (our founder Jens Elers has been there since he very first fair in 1985), we humbly consider ourselves seasoned attendees, and this year has truly felt different from any other.

We’ve spend a lot of time 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, reaching out and building connections on beforehand. Our team arrived early to attend 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘆 by and had fully pre-booked calendars during the days. The evenings were spent with partners and clients, discovering many of Miami’s excellent restaurant options 🍽️ ✨

This year we’re 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, enabling cruise lines to work with DMC Nordic all through the 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮 and the 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰 up to Greenland. These new openings, combined with extensive preparation for the fair, have resulted in a significant amount of 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, which we are very excited to begin.
