How we will travel in 2021.

While we still have no idea when this lock-down will be over in Denmark, it is important to remember that we each day move closer and closer towards spring, summer and social events.

It will be exciting to see how people will travel and experience new destinations after Covid-19. According to Financial Times, we will take fewer but longer holidays and the travel industry will experience a growing number of inquiries for full-on "once in-a-lifetime" adventures.

In Foods of Copenhagen we are beginning to receive requests again and it feels so good! We actually miss sharing our food!
We have also added a new service, as we believe it is more important than ever to support and grow local economies on the destinations we will be visiting in the future.

Er du på udkig efter årets firmajulegave?

Så lad os sammen give Dansk gastronomi og de lokale madproducenter et 'juleboost' i år!

For i Foods of Copenhagen står julen for døren, og det er nu muligt at forudbestille vores juleversion af vores madgave.

Madgaven var et initiativ, som vi startede for at holde hjulene igang i vores forretning og hos vores samarbejdspartnere af lokale producenter, da Danmark lukkede ned tilbage i marts.

Vores juleudgave kan forudbestilles nu på [email protected] og koster som udgangspunkt 500 kr.

Vi kommer gerne ud med prøvepakker til virksomheder, der ønsker at give årets julegave til kollegaer og/eller kunder. Den kan justeres alt efter ønsker og budget.

Billederne er eksemplar på nogle af de producenter, som vi tidligere har haft mad. Juleversionen vil indeholde 5-6 innovative og spændende danske producenter samt en beskrivelse af de enkelte ting og menneskerne bag.

Vi lægger også gerne en personlig hilsen ved.

Let's inspire each other through this new time with corona. The tourism industry is suffering all over the world due to travel restrictions, and personally I believe it will for a long time.

I met Jim Bamboulis from Travel Mammal last year, and he has just shared a very inspiring post that I hope you will read too. Let us keep encouraging each other with new ways of doing things - we need it!

Thank you Jim for giving me the opportunity to show you our Copenhagen food scene back in November 2019. Wow, had we known what would happen a few months later, we would certainly have needed more cider at Solfinn ;)

HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?

We hope you are all safe, and we cannot wait to welcome you in Copenhagen when this storm has passed.
While this is such a critical time, we experience so much support in our community and lots of creativity.

Lockdown in Denmark!

Due to the announcement yesterday from our Prime Minister I am so sorry to inform that we have cancelled all our tours during this difficult time.

We have been looking so much forward to the season and the consequences for a small company are critical. However, I strongly believe the lockdown is the only right thing to do in this situation and we support it and hope for a calm situation after these 14 days.

We have shared a few thoughts on the future of Copenhagen! While the city is getting lots of positive attention, we also need to be ready with strategies and creative business to insure the best possible experiences for our guests.
