Finally vacation 🌞 every summer we spend most of our vacation at the beach on Falster in grandma’s summerhouse. This year our youngest found her dads old Playmobil and she is having a lot of fun, when she is not playing on the beach or swimming in the sea.

After many years in an apartment in the heart of Frederiksberg, dreaming of moving closer to the sea and the beach, we finally got lucky and found a wonderful little house. Only a few minutes on bike from the beach on Amager.

Last day of 2019. Freezing cold, sunny sky, a curious Panda and our youngest daughter. Looking forward to a new year with a lot of new experiences together with my wonderful little family. And hopefully a little more time to write. Happy new year to all of you!

Jetlag! During my 12 years as cabin crew I have tried many things to combat it. Long walks in the forest, yoga and a short nap every day makes a huge difference for me. Today I went for a walk in Frederiksberg Garden, a beautiful park close to where we live. I love autumn 🍂

Waiting for today’s catch 🐟 bad luck. We didn’t get any fish today 👎😫 so we having spaghetti with meatballs for dinner tonight.

Today’s catch 🐟🐟🦀🦀 two flounders and two crabs. Kai let the two crabs back into the sea, but we enjoyed the flounders for dinner. They tasted really good, but it was too little for six hungry people. The net is back out in the sea, so hopefully we get a bigger catch tomorrow 🤞

After an okay nights sleep, I woke up in Chicago and went out to get some breakfast. I went back to Pierrot Gourmet at the Peninsula. A wonderful quiet place and delicious food. This place has been one of my favourite spots for breakfast since my first visit to Chicago more than 12 years ago. I just sat there for more than an hour, drinking my tea and listening to Carla Bruni and got a strange feeling of being in Paris right in the middle of Chicago 🇫🇷🇱🇷

Two more days to go in school and daycare, two more flights for me and then it’s summer holiday 🌞💙😃✈️ Six weeks with the kids❤️😍🌞. No lunchbox stress in the morning, no tired kids, no tired mother 😉 We haven’t made a lot of plans; just going to drive around Denmark and visit friends and family and then spend a week or two with grandma in her summerhouse by the beach 🏖
