These days I’ve been out and about with guests, mainly from the U.S. And I feel so priviliged to have the opportunity talking to so many different people /tailoring experiences for them. The Cph:cool tours are mainly for smaller groups, so we always have space and time for the important dialogues about culture, habits, food, sustainability, architecture and sometimes about our political system, infrastructure, our language or whatever comes up. ——————————————-Today I walked the streets with a couple from San Fransisco, who used to run a bakery. So we had pastries at Lille Fugl in Gammel Strand (one of my favourites) and they told me how they took over an abandoned building in 1999 and converted it into a lively bakery and rented some parts to small bussiness as ceramic designers etc. We also talked about artisan food, upcycling and transformations and I left them at one of the many cool craft breweries in town, located in an earlier locomotive workshop. Tomorrow I will take them to the factory districts of Kødbyen (Meat Packing District) and Refshaleøen (ship yard district) and show them industrial beauty 2.0. ———————————————-The other day I guided a family of 4, who just loved that we are allowed to bring some beer to the park nearby - they never tried that before and thorougly enjoyed it.————————————————Later this week I will take a mother and her daughter to some exquisite designers and get an insightful window into their working process. ————————————————And next week I plan to go to the Carlsberg District and show old and new architecture before some beer tasting in the authentic brewery cellars. ————————————————Yay - Every day and party is different - and that’s indeed what keeps me runnin’. ————————————————Allthough - sometimes it’s also a bliss to not talk- and solely look down at the falling light pink flowers, or whatever catches one’s eye…———————————— 🇩🇰
