Copenhagen is now home to the world's two best restaurants! Noma and Geranium, which both have 3 Michelin stars, were recently given the honour by the World's 50 Best Restaurants.

It was a one-two for Copenhagen, as Geranium was chosen as the second-best restaurant in the world in the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2021.

Odense is one of my favourite towns in Denmark, and its new Hans Christian Andersen museum is set to be completed this summer with a new take on the famous fairytale writer: “Hans Christian Andersen House doesn't speak about Hans Christian Andersen, it speaks as Hans Christian Andersen.'' Looking forward to a visit, and to finally launching my Odense tour!

Children will be enchanted.

There's something really special about seeing the Royal horses out and about in Copenhagen. These beautiful Czech Kladrubers pull Queen Margrethe's carriage on special occasions, but can also be seen out on practice runs around the city. It's a nice added touch for my tour guests whenever we spot them!

The daily Changing of the Guard at 's Amalienborg Palace is extra special when Queen Margrethe is in residence - the Royal Life Guard is accompanied by their marching band!

When I found myself without tourists to guide in this summer, I decided I'd take the opportunity to create a tour especially for expats! My 'Tales of Copenhagen' tour takes Copenhagen residents from around the world to some of the city's most beautiful spots, and dives into its fascinating history and people. So far, over 60 expats have taken part, and it's been a fantastic experience! So much so, that I'm launching a new route in August that will tell the stories of some of the city's most iconic locations, as well as some hidden gems. 'More Tales of Copenhagen' will run August 2nd, 8th, and 16th, with more dates to come.

Copenhagen's Mindelunden i Ryvangen is a memorial to Danish resistance fighters executed by the occupying N**i forces during World War Two.
