Copenhagen Business School's Buddy Programme The Buddy Programme connects CBS students with incoming exchange students. Be a Buddy for the next You will be a Buddy for one or two exchange students.

The Buddy Programme allows CBS students to meet new people from different countries, obtain intercultural competencies, and expand their international network. Welcoming and helping the exchange students find their way in new surroundings will be very valuable for them and a very satisfying experience for you! When you sign up to be a Buddy, you commit to the following tasks:

The simple but impor

tant tasks of a CBS Buddy are:
• Arrange the exchange students’ pick-up
• Welcome them upon arrival and take them to their residences
• Help them become familiarized with CBS

We need Buddies for both the Fall semester (arrivals in the last two weeks of August) and the Spring semester (arrivals in the last two weeks of January).

Dear all future buddies! We are pleased to tell you that everything is back to normal after the pandemic. Hence, we will be hosting information meetings in-person once again. 😊

There will be two information meetings held on campus to provide more information about participating in the programme. It is recommended that all volunteering buddies, for the Spring semester 2022, attend one of the meetings. The first one will be November 24th at 16:15 in SPs10 and the second one will be December 13th at 16:15 in SPs05.

We hope to see as many of you as possible.

We are also still in need of quite a few volunteers, so if any of you have friends who might consider being a buddy, ask them to sign up and bring them along to our information meetings! 🤩

Welcome folders and Buddy Cards are from this semester onwards digital. Therefore, only show up if your assigned exchange student has housing through CBS (shown in previous mails).

Dear CBS Buddies,

Tonight is the night! We are having the massive Buddy Party at Chateau Motel at 22:00 with more than 800 people!
There is free entrance from 22:00 - 24:00, with Buddy Card or Social Program Bracelet.
It takes a while to get 800 people into a club, so the earlier you arrive the shorter the line will be.

Very important!!!
Your exchange student(s) can only attend if they have purchased the Social Package for the Introduction Week.

We look forward to seeing you for a crazy night together!

Dear Buddies for spring 2018,
Earlier this week we sent you an email concerning the two big events this week, so please check your mail. If you have not seen it, here is a short sum up.
Today is the Buddy Dinner followed by the Buddy Party, and on Saturday, there will be the Welcome Dinner followed by the After Party.

Buddy Party! – Thursday 25th January:
Please note that the Party TODAY is at the Drunken Flamingo and NOT Søpavillonen!
You MUST bring your Buddy card in order to enter the party at Drunken Flamingo. If you have not picked up your Buddy card yet, you can do so at our office at PH during our office hours (10:00 until 15:00). PLEASE remember to bring your ID as well, as your Buddy card is personal.

Welcome Dinner and After Party-Saturday 27th of January:
The Welcome Dinner is the big finale of the two introduction weeks for the exchange students, and will take place on Saturday, 27th of January at Ovnhallen, Porcelænshaven 24, 2000 Frederiksberg. This year we will celebrate the Welcome Dinner with a Tropical Hawaiian theme.
Tickets for the dinner can be purchased at webshop.cbs.dk for 140 DKK per person. Please note that there is a limited amount of tickets, so be quick!
Following the dinner, there will be an After Party at Søpavillonen
