Over the past week, we have had the pleasure of hosting two inspiring talks.

First up, a collaboration with : “Beyond the Tag: How Art Finds Its Price.” Nikolai Wallner himself, together with Anders Jensen, partner and director, generously shared the story of the gallery, and how they work with artists and how that collaboration shapes the primary market price of a piece. They gave us a look into the many considerations behind pricing art and the factors that can influence it. They also opened up about the questions they constantly ask themselves: How can we strategically place an artist’s work to support and strengthen their career? How do we set a price that is fair, sustainable, and empowering? Overall, an incredibly insightful evening. We will definitely host similar events in the future.

Secondly, Cille Grosel shared her personal story and her path to becoming an artist. Her journey began in childhood with a deep connection to nature, an influence that still runs through her work today. One step led to another, and eventually she made the bold decision to move to Bornholm to pursue ceramics at the Royal Danish Academy.

While nature continues to anchor her ceramics, more recent years she has explored and embraced femininity as a powerful layer in her expression. These intertwined layers now shape her visual language and are beautifully present in her work today. Cille offered an honest and intimate talk, sharing her reflections on life after school and how she’s finding her way, navigating and refining her identity and brand as an artist. We can’t wait to follow her journey.

Lastly, a big thank you to for hosting us. It will always be one of our favorite wine bars in Copenhagen!
