Although we are still in a time of crisis, long walks at our wide beaches in Destination Vesterhavet is lovely. Getting blown through - but not backwards 😉 It gives new energy and joy with a view of wide spaces. 🌊

Flyers in the night and flash back to World War II. Here is Museum Director Mette Bjerrum Jensen and Museum Inspector Peter Carstensen inside a reconstructed bunker at the Ringkøbing Museum. The beautiful aircraft "Just Jane" is one of the 19 planes that crashed in the area. The script over the door frame tells the soldiers not to lean against the wall when there were attacks, for the shakes could go through the body and smash their knees. Definitely worth a visit when the museum reopens after Covid19.

Beautiful morning in Hvide Sande Havn, where the cutters get ready to sail out on the mirror-shiny water. The big ship is a Jack-up ship that sails around with four legs. The legs can be lowered to the seabed, so that the ship can then be lifted free of the water and operate the crane from a fixed platform out on the sea. The four legs of the ship each measure 82.5 meters. The ship is the largest ship, that has arrived at Hvide Sande Havn 💙🌊💪🏻

There is always the certainty of seeing deer in Vejers. These crown deer are a landmark for Vejers city and they will definitely be here when returning to the Destination Vesterhavet 🦌🦌🦌😉🌊

Der er altid sikkerhed for at se krondyr i Vejers. Disse krondyr er et vartegn for Vejers by, og de står her helt sikkert, når I vender retur til Destination Vesterhavet 🦌🦌🦌😉🌊

Today we have a look at the construction site at the new, large experience center Naturkraft near Ringkøbing in the Destination Vesterhavet. It opens on June 4, 2020. We look forward and hope Denmark is open again at that time 🎉😀
