Denmark's COVID Border Openings Fall Short
Denmark officials announced today they will reopen their borders on June 15th to residents of Germany, Norway, and Iceland.
The decision falls short for those expecting Denmark to open their borders for all inter-European travelers on the same date. Other countries in the European union still seemed poised to open on June 15th including Germany, Austria, France, Italy (June 3rd confirmed), and Spain (open now).
DANISH EXPATS however are welcome to come back home and enjoy Denmark’s open restaurants, cafes, beaches, shopping, churches, and amusement parks.
RESIDENTS OF OTHER COUNTRIES may enter if you are on a business trip, you have children living in Denmark, you have grandparents living in Denmark, or you own a summer home.
