Two weeks ago I went on a weekend trip to Szczecin, Poland with my host family.
It was a early start to make the ferry over to Germany but it was all worth it, I mean I was going to Poland!🚘🇵🇱
Unfortunately we had some troubles with the car once we had arrived in Szczecin but we managed to get it fixed in the one day.
On Saturday we looked around the town, the first few pictures are from a cafe up the top of a tower in the centre of town but unfortunately it was raining and overcast so the pictures didn't turn out the best. The rest of the photos are from around Szczecin and a delicious dinner we had.
Thank you so much to my host family for taking me and I can't wait to go back again at Christmas time and explore southern Poland and your hometown!🎅🏼🎄🇵🇱

Two weeks ago I was given a very unique opportunity to fly a plane with my host dad and of course I said yes! We flew over Lolland, Falster and Southern Sjælland. We had some fantastic views and it's pretty safe to say I was a little anxious steering the plane but it was so much fun! ✈️✈️

It's been a while since I last posted here, I have been really busy. Here's what I've been up to:

On the 7th of August my host family and I travelled to Göteborg, Sweden to watch a football match between Arsenal and Man City.⚽️🇸🇪 Even though I'm not really a football fan it was a great game to watch with Arsenal defeating Man City 3-2.

On Saturday the 6th of August my newbie Victória from Brazil arrived in Denmark. 🇧🇷✈️🇩🇰🎉 I am so excited that she is here because it means that I finally have another exchange student with me in Nakskov. I can't wait to see what the next five months has in store for us

On the 12th of June I went to Copenhagen for the first time to participate in The Colour Run. I met up with some other exchange students there and it was a great day. I enjoyed it so much that I have bought a ticket for The Colour Run Night on the 3rd of September in Copenhagen. I also had a chance to do some sightseeing, I saw Nyhavn and The Little Mermaid.

Then on the 22nd of June my host parents and I went to a Btuce Springsteen concert. Even though I only knew about five of his songs and he played them at the end it was still a very good concert. The day after that I met up with some exchange students in a park, it was a very hyggeligt afternoon/evening. It was great to see some of my oldies one last time before they went home.

Lastly on the 25th of June my host parents and I went to the music festival Tinderbox in Odense. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather but that didn't matter because it was still a great atmosphere. I got to see Lukas Graham perform and he was just amazing, he has so much energy.

I'm sorry that it has been so long since I last posted. I have been very busy.

From the 22nd of May until the 8th of June I had my Eurotour and it was absolutely incredible, the best 18 days of my life. I went to Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Monaco, France, Belgium and The Netherlands. I saw so many great things and made a lot of memories. I also made some great friends that mean the world to me and I can't thank them enough for such a great tour.❤️

Last Saturday I met up with some exchange students and we went to Roskilde. We visited the Viking ship museum and we were even lucky enough to go out on the water in a Viking ship. After that we visited the Roskilde Cathedral which was built during the 12th and 13th centuries.

Last Sunday on Mother's Day my host family and I went to a tulip farm about a 20 minute drive from Nakskov🌷☀️💐. We were lucky enough to have really nice warm weather, I was even in shorts and a tshirt. 😱 My host mum then showed me the queens👑 summerhouse which was about a 5-10 minute drive from the tulip farm.
