Most of us could probably use a little more fresh air. A little more time outside. A little more space between emails, errands and that slightly hectic indoor lifestyle we somehow ended up with.
And that is where camping starts to make sense ⛺️
We get it, though. Swapping all-inclusive, air con and someone else making breakfast for washing up after dinner and breakfast under the awning can sound like a bold lifestyle choice. Possibly too bold for some.
But camping does not have to mean giving up comfort. It can mean choosing a different kind of ease. 🩵
Picture this: a day that starts right outside your door. Children running off to the playground before you have finished your coffee. Friends cooking together with the produce you bought at the roadside stall when hiking earlier, then walking to the beach to catch the sunset, daily scoreboards of winners and losers at various games and sitting around in hoodies long after dinner.
And if setting up a tent feels like a slightly risky group project, or none of you happen to own a motorhome or caravan, there are plenty of campsites where the base is already waiting for you.
Huts with the basics. Glamping tents with a softer landing. Places where you can arrive with your bags, your best intentions and maybe a few snacks too many and still wake up close to the coast, the trees or both.
So yes, camping can be tents and torchlight.
But it can also be a ready-made little home for fresh air, shared dinners, sandy feet and the rare luxury of everyone being in the same place at the same time.
