🗿Flinstone Buggy Cave

This incredible tour begins at a conveniently located
ranch in the heart of Bavaro.

The trail is 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) long and takes you
through a variety of vegetation and rock/mountain
formations.

The first stop is at a typical Dominican countryside and
at the local “colmado” (a small grocery store) where
participants can sample authentic Dominican coffee.
Immerse yourself in Dominican culture as you join
country locals doing their daily shopping.

Approximately 20 minutes later, the tour will continue
off-road and you will be surrounded by simply stunning
views. Touring through colorful houses and through the
amazing landscape of banana plantations and
farmland. This is the real Dominican Republic! The tour
is becomes even more rural and wild, we also have
some spectacular views of the "cliffs" that have been
formed over millions of years. Then it heads to the
"Cueva de la Fantasia". the group will enter the cave
and walk almost to the end, through magnificent and
huge illuminated stalactites and stalagmites. This is not
a public cave, so it can only be accessed on this tour.
It's a 100% authentic experience! In the cave, feel the
potholes and the uneven surface of the path. Few
changes have been made to the cave, which has
maintained its authenticity and beauty.
"After exploring "Fantasy Cave", you will go upstairs to
Bedrock City, another group of caves located above the
big cave, which is a strange combination. Why is it
called Bedrock City? Well, here you see the villa from
Fred Flintstone, the garage with Flintstone Mobile and
much more. After around 35 minutes inside the cave, it
will be time to return. With the sun on your face and the
wind in your hair, drive your dune buggy in the open
air back to the ranch. Here you will have the
opportunity to purchase excursion photos and other
souvenirs, or enjoy Dominican-style drinks at the bar.
