Fish are back in their pond with crystal clear water.

All the prep work has been done to move the fish back into the clean pond.

Progress on the pond. 141 koi fish are in the temporary pool, waiting for us to finish up the plumbing for the new pump and filtration system. Hopefully we get the parts we are waiting on tomorrow.

Harnessing the sun! ☀️ Powering up with a fresh solar array and lithium battery installation. Huge thanks to Birkan Zambak and the team for the clean work on the roof and getting the off-grid system completely dialed in. Energy independence feels incredible! 🔋⚡ birsonelectricity

Our check dams are built with a purpose: to slow water, catch sediment, reduce erosion, and help the land hold moisture longer. They support groundwater recharge, protect our streams, and strengthen the health of the soil as we expand our permaculture and food forest systems. This is about working with the land, not against it — building resilience for the future while caring for the rivers, gardens, and trees that sustain life here.

This was my pool idea...

Hard work, but 1 month of progress

Time to share it with special people

And now enjoying it every day we are home.
