About 4 years ago we had a couple who wanted a Blinged Out Golf Course wedding with People staying in Villas in Casa de Campo (the Caribbean’s #1 Resort) Casadecampo Rd for the amount of money they couldn’t even have done it in a run down tin roofed “Casa” in the middle of any “Campo” in the middle of nowhere. But even then I kept trying to help and they even gave me a WHOPPING $2,000 deposit 🤣😆😂 but when their guest list jumped from 30 to 100 all of a sudden “I” was the bad one : mind you I had made hundreds of “commitments” to make their beautiful day happen for them - but they decided to go another route trying to do everything on their own, left me holding the bag and the costs for EVERYTHING I had ALREADY paid for or put deposits down for in good faith, and so when their guests came down they told everyone that “they had given me ALL their money and I hadn’t done ANYTHING and had stolen their money and had run off” boo hoo hoo and so they needed help because I “never paid for anything” and now they had no money and needed help. So EVERYONE started calling ME and attacking ME and calling ME every name in the book, I tried to ask them HOW they were even in a Villa if I hadn’t paid for it (as you canNOT check in somewhere if it hasn’t been paid or payment arranged) but they didn’t want to listen and so the ONLY “little” thing I COULD do was very simply stop payment on the check for the rental on the Wedding Villa where alot of these lovelies were staying and SO I DID and they got THROWN OUT ON THEIR JANKY SHADY ASSES. I KNEW I’d NEVER see the rest of the money we had committed and were on the hook for, but thank Goodness we WERE able to stop payment and get THAT $10k SAFE.... Today when we come close the guy turns and runs and the girl turns her head and acts like she doesn’t see us. 🤷🏼♀️ 🤣 ❤️
