💫 Top 5 Booked Resorts! (Amongst my clients!)

I’m going to begin with some of honorable mentions because they deserve love and only missed the top 5 spots by 2-5 stays!

Next Honorable Mention: Caribbean Beach Resort 🏝️

CBR ranked #6 amongst top booked resorts with my clients! Ahhhh, this resort is my “need to stay at asap” resort! This resort is perfect if you’re a beach lover who wants some island vibes mixed in with their Disney vacay!

❤️ Why my clients love it:
• Skyliner!!! This is huge! Transportation can sometimes make or break your day, which sounds dramatic but at the end of a park day.. and honestly by day 3/4… no one wants to be standing in a long bus line, hoping to get on the next bus while carrying your things… and then you get on and it’s standing room only? End me. 😂😭
• Caribbean themed resort with island music, beaches with hammocks, lakeside walking paths, and palm trees! It gives you a true vacation feeling
• Main Pool is amazing - it’s a Spanish fortress theme with two water slides, splash zone, hot tubs and some fun pirate theming
• Excellent food options 🤤
• Options for a 5th sleeper room
• Close to Epcot & Hollywood Studios (Skyliner!)

💔 Why some don’t love it…
• Biiiiig resort - so if you’re not paying for preferred rooms you may be walking a bit 🚶
• Typically the most expensive moderate resort & not often included in promos / deals
• Some say it has too much of a “motel” feel (doors open right to outside)
• Not as “loud” with Disney theming

Price Range: 💰 💰 💰 1/2
For some reason, CBR is rarely included in promos OR has crazy low availability making this a resort you end up paying full price for. It isn’t deluxe pricing but it is more expensive than most moderates, if not all. However, the vibes, amenities, & transportation ease is worth the price tag in my opinion- so if you got it, do it!

Dining: 🍴 🍴 🍴 🍴
Home of the “best kept resort dining secret” Sebastian’s Bistro - it rates high for that alone! There is also a food court and a fun pool bar & Lounge, Banana Cabana!

Lita’s Overall Rating: N/A - I’ve never stayed, but I want to be very badly so I’m hoping to soon. 🤞🏼 But if I had to rate it based off of what I’ve researched and seen myself:

💚💜 Honorable Mention: Port Orleans Riverside

POR ranked #7 amongst most booked by my clients and honestly I think the only reason she’s at 7, is price! I typically book value resorts- so moderates don’t come around as often for me however, as I research & get feedback, I’ll be suggesting more of these for my repeat families!

This moderate resort has a southern bayou vibe- less noisy & chaotic makes this a nice place for families who want to slowwww down during their Disney vacay. It’s so pretty & we love a moderate category resort!

❤️ Why clients love this resort:
• Walking paths for relaxing strolls 🚶
• Boat transportation right to Disney Springs 🛥️
• Ol’ Man Island pool has a water slide, hot tub & splash areas 🏊
• Disney Princess themed rooms, some with the infamous “firework” headboards (my FAVE) 🎇
• 5th sleeper rooms for our families of 5!!
• Allowed & EASY access to the French Quarters amenities too (hellooooo Mickey Beignets) just a walking path away!
• Horse drawn carriage rides, fishing, bike rentals, & campfires
• Great food options 🤤

💔 Why some don’t love this resort:
• Only buses for transportation
• Biiiig resort so depending on where you’re staying, ya might be walking a bit 🙈
• The vibes - most people want the HEY I’M AT DISNEYYYY vibes and this is more laid back / not as loudly themed

✨ Price:💰 💰 💰
It’s your basic moderate pricing, typically I see it around $349/night when quoting but very often is included in promos, making it cheaper!

✨ Dining: 🍴🍴🍴
Mmm for a resort, she’s got options! Boatwrights Dining hall has jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp & grits, ribs, prime rib & the fixings! There is also a food court (pizza, pasta, fried food, salads, sandwiches, and more!) a pool bar, and a lounge! AND French Quarter food is only a walk away!

✨ Lita’s Overall Rating: I give it 3 ⭐️ out of 5, because it is really pretty, has great good options, is almost always included in promo’s, and my husband loves this theming- but it personally isn’t my vibe. I enjoy most of this resort, I just wish there was another way to get to the parks besides busing & I don’t enjoy walking 818281827 miles to my room… I also love louder Disney theming 😉

I have not stayed here personally, but I have visited it. I stayed at the French Quarter which is pretty much the same thing (just a lot smaller which I prefer - and more New Orleans/jazz themed)

2. My personal rating:
Ranges from 1 ⭐️ (not a fan) to 5 ⭐️ (loveee) - for this I factor in vibes of the resort, comfort level, rooms, transportation options, amenities offered, what you’re paying for VS what you get, all that.

3. Resort Food ratings / options:
Ranges from 1 🍴 to 5 🍴- basing this off of options, taste if I’ve had it personally, and pricing!

This resort IS kid-friendly (it has adults only sections!) and the small touches to make sure the kids were included were seriously so cute.

The steps up to the bar so they can reach it and order mocktails?? 🥹
The candy & donut buffet?? 🥹
The playground? Water park?! Dance parties?!

They also have a kids club that is included for ages 4+, and 3&under is a small fee (however you’re not paying for their stay so it’s a wash!) So the adults can have a date night, and the kids can have their own fun!

And yesss… chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, french fries, and pasta are available for the kiddos (and picky eaters! 😜)

This resort will make the whole family happy - it’s the perfect getaway from the chaos. And I know people say “vacation with kids is just parenting somewhere else” Right… but parenting somewhere that you don’t need to cook, clean, plan activities, figure out transportation, balance schedules and maintain the daily chaos… that sounds like a pretty good vacation to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️
