"Hi Kobe & Sep’s mom and dad,

What a beautiful coincidence that we found the little butterflies! I am also a mom of twins who were born at 24 weeks, and unfortunately, we had to say goodbye after just a few weeks. My sons would have turned 10 last week.

We found the little butterflies in Meerdonk, on the Saleghem walking route, which runs along the beautiful tulip fields.

They were hanging on a tree by the water. We took them home and gave them to friends from Australia who were visiting. They are taking them there and letting them continue their journey.

Hopefully, they will discover many beautiful places there!"

In the afternoon, we headed into nature to commemorate your birthday. We walked past the tulip fields of Meerdonk, pear blossoms, and the Saleghem creek.

11 years without you, yet still with you.

11 years of world travelers who recently ended up in a Belgian newspaper and on American TV. 📺

Many new followers have joined us over the past few days; it is nice to read that you want to experience our boys' journey with us. Welcome!

So much warmth and love has already come our way; it is a bit crazy to realize that we have been doing this for 11 years, and that it is now even known in America.

"Hi there, my fiance and I had the absolute pleasure of finding Kobe and Sep this morning (3/14/26) on Anna Maria Island, FL! Before finding them we enjoyed the sunrise and unbeknownst to us the twins were already making an impression. We got to enjoy a “double sunrise” so we can only imagine Kobe and Sep were there with us when we stumbled upon this. We will be taking it back home with us to Cape Coral, FL and will email you when we place them in their new adventure place ❤️❤️
