Last week a fellow agent toured Hyatt Ziva Cancun, and her honest feedback is below! I can say I LOVE to recommend this resort especially for families! 😍

Here’s why it stands out to…

🌊 THE BEACH: Absolutely stunning! The turquoise water and white sand are breathtaking, and the resort is surrounded by the ocean on TWO sides. The views are incredible from all over the property!

🏝️ POOLS FOR EVERYONE: The adults-only Turquoize rooftop pool has amazing views and plenty of space to relax. Plus, the pools are heated during winter!

🍣 FOODIE APPROVED: The buffet had tons of seating, vegetarian AND vegan sections, sushi, and a DIY ramen bar. We also spotted fresh pizza and calzones coming out of the oven at the Italian restaurant. 🤤

☕ THE LITTLE EXTRAS: A cute candy shop, a lovely coffee shop, a mixology bar with daily tastings, and one of the BEST resort gyms I’ve seen!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 GREAT FOR FAMILIES: Daily activities, a kids’ area, a teens’ arcade, pool parties, and plenty of dining options make this a solid choice for a family getaway.

🥂 WANT SOMETHING MORE UPSCALE? The adults-only Turquoize Tower offers balcony jacuzzis in every room, direct spa access, and a rooftop pool with incredible ocean views!

✨ With beautiful accommodations, amazing views, and so much to enjoy, Hyatt Ziva Cancun is definitely one I’d recommend looking into for your next vacation!

I have a lot of new faces so let me reintroduce myself!

Hi, I’m Regan, the owner of Wanderwest Travel Co.! I’m a Texas A&M University graduate, and I’ve been running my travel business for almost 4 years in November. It has been SO much fun!

🗺️ The resort layout can take some getting used to.
🍴 Quick grab-and-go snack options are limited.

My take? If your dream vacation is ocean views, incredible food, poolside relaxation, and a sophisticated adults-only atmosphere, Live Aqua Cancun deserves a spot on your list. If you want nonstop entertainment, a party scene, or calm ocean swimming every day, keep these details in mind!

Trip Review ✨

“The trip was AMAZING! The Westin was soooo nice, and the baby/toddler/kid pool area was PERFECT for all ages! The pool area had a splash pad with a beach style entrance, a shallow 2 inch deep splash area, a 2 foot deep section with a kids slide, and then a larger pool. There were also three large family pools, one huge adult only pool, and two adult only hot tubs.

A few other things the resort offered was paid childcare for kids ages 5 and up. An arcade but had to pay to play. A poolside restaurant that delivered right to your chair and a resort restaurant. There was tons of food and shopping just a 5 minute walk away.

And the BEACH! It was right next to the pool, and honestly, it was the best beach on the island! We asked several people where the best beach was, and they all said the one we were staying on. They were right! We even walked down to the Hyatt and guests were having trouble accessing the beach because of recent hurricane.

One of the coolest things about the hotel was the check in area with a waterfall, flamingos, and some of the largest fish I’ve ever seen! They also had daily fish and flamingo feedings, which were SO much fun, and two parrots that guests could hold every day!

If I could change a few things, I’d love to see more complimentary activities around the resort, like ping-pong, pickleball, evening entertainment, a game room, or a cozy coffee shop/lounge to hang out in. I know that comes more with the all inclusive experience so we already knew before we arrived. Plus since it’s a family resort a kids’ playroom with toys or an outdoor playground would have been great, too! Basically, if you weren’t swimming but wanted to stay at the resort, there wasn’t a ton to do. But honestly, it’s Maui! We were out exploring and doing fun things almost every day anyway.

We’d definitely go back but with no kids this time! “
