Hi everyone! My name is Caroline, although most people call me Carrie, which is actually where the name of my company, Carried Away Vacations, came from. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself in case you’re coming across my page for the first time.
Almost three years ago, after retiring from 36 years of teaching, I was introduced to the travel industry, and ever since then, I guess you could say I’ve become completely obsessed with everything about travel.
If I had to choose a niche, I would say honeymoons, group travel, and European destinations are my specialties. But honestly, helping people check destinations off their bucket list and turning dream vacations into reality is what truly makes me happy.
When you book your travel with me, you are never alone. As cliché as it may sound, I am with you every step of the way, from the very beginning, through every detail in the middle, all the way until you return home. Building personal connections with my clients means more to me than simply booking a trip.
Over the past three years, I’ve evolved from thinking of myself as a travel agent to becoming a travel advisor. To me, there’s a big difference. Through experience, continued education, and firsthand travel knowledge, I’m able to guide my clients, recommend destinations and itineraries that truly fit them, and help alleviate the stress that often comes with planning a vacation. As exciting as travel planning is, there can definitely be an overwhelming side to it, and my goal is to make the process feel easy, exciting, and seamless.
Quality matters to me far more than quantity. I take pride in creating personalized experiences for every client, and when you leave for your trip, you’ll have a detailed itinerary and the confidence of knowing exactly what comes next.
