Crystal-clear turquoise seas, perfect weather, and two absolute monsters of the ocean. These beautiful dorado (mahi-mahi) put up one hell of a fight, but we brought them home!

P.S. Yellowfin Tuna is found in tropical and warm waters around the world, including the Dominican Republic. It is a powerful and fast predator that can grow very large, sometimes reaching over 400 pounds.
This fish usually stays near the surface and is often caught by trolling with lures such as silicone skirts and bait. Yellowfin Tuna is famous for its strong fight, often diving deep and resisting until the end.
Red meat is very tasty and commonly used for sushi. In Punta Cana, the best chance to catch Yellowfin Tuna is from February to August.
