Terminando el año comienza la temporada de *eclipses*, que se estrena el 30 de noviembre junto con la *Luna Llena*. En esta sesión nos vamos a preparar para afrontar los retos y encauzar las energías en consciencia con nuestro ser.

At MONTE PLACIDO we are able to accommodate large groups up to 28 guests in our six rental homes We can help you choose the right combination of homes to meet sleeping arrangements.
It is the perfect place for family reunions, weddings, yoga retreats, corporate retreats. Please inquire if you desire catering and entertainment services. We have DJs that live on site!!

MONTE PLACIDO is still shut down due to COVID. We will only accept bookings after thoroughly communicating with potential guests. We are actively implementing rigid sanitary protocol for the safety of our guests, our staff and ourselves. Take care....

We had blocked our homes until early July. If and when the lock down is eased we may open up again. However, stringent sanatary rules will apply. We are working on details. Until then take care. Welcome to Monte Placido when all this is over.

TIME TO EMPTY THE POOL We did stock up on many essentials before lock down but we forgot to provision chemicals for the pool. We don't foresee welcoming any guests in near future so why waste energy so let's empty it anyway.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DR style on the street against Covid 19. Diana and I came to Santo Domingo for a quick turn around trip to close down the Zona Colonial apartment. Usually at traffic lights we are bombarded by "ambulantes" = street vendors trying to off load all kinds of paraphernalia/junk. It seems no shortage of masks and gloves here in DR. All sizes and colors available even with DR National flag. Not sure if profiteering but so many of them selling that supply exceeds demand rule market rule for sure.
Confirming we shut down until early July. Only monthly or long term stays MAY be considered on a case per case basis.

Hello to all our past and future guests. The DR government has put the country on lock down for foreseeable future. On our side we had already taken proactive steps to quarantine.. We blocked our calendars until early July on AIRBNB. If any potential guests came our way direct basis only we would consider accepting mid and long term bookings only. If so strict sanitary house rules would apply for the benefit of all. MONTE PLACIDO is an ideal for quaranteeing as we are set in pastoral setting away from hustle bustle of town, we are self reliant with solar energy, or situation on top of mountain really makes it very secure.
