At Pro Academ Tours RD, we have chosen a different approach.

We are a small, dedicated travel company, and we believe that each group deserves our full attention. When we have a confirmed group for certain dates, we may sometimes have to decline another booking for the same period.

Is that always the easiest business decision? Probably not.

But we believe that giving our full time and attention to the travelers who have already trusted us is more important than simply accepting every possible booking.

For us, quality comes before quantity.

🇩🇴 New Development in the Historic Center of Santo Domingo

On September 28, 2026, President Luis Abinader inaugurated the restored Diego Columbus Alcázar Museum and launched a new electric bus route connecting the Colonial City with other areas of Santo Domingo.

The event brought together Tourism Minister David Collado, Culture Minister Roberto Ángel Salcedo, and representatives of international organizations involved in the development of the city.

The restored museum adds a renewed cultural and educational attraction to the Colonial City, while the electric bus route creates a more sustainable connection between the historic district and other parts of Santo Domingo.

Together, these initiatives support the preservation of historic heritage, cultural tourism, and more sustainable urban transportation. 🇩🇴🏛️🚌
