Meet Galápagos' newest little celebrity 💙🐙
Tiny, bright blue, and completely new to science.
This recently discovered octopus, *Microeledone galapagensis*, was found deep within the Galápagos Marine Reserve, near Darwin Island, nearly 1,800 meters below the surface.
About the size of a golf ball, this little creature is a reminder that even in one of the most studied and protected ecosystems on Earth, there are still mysteries waiting to be discovered.
The Galápagos has inspired explorers, scientists, and dreamers for generations—and it continues to surprise us. Who knows what other wonders are still hidden in the depths? 🌊✨
